Here is my list of Top 10 all rounders in Cricket History
As Usually I waana start with No.10
10)There are two guys competing for this place. They are Sanath Jayasurya and Andrew Flintoff
Andrew Flintoff : He is the hero for The England Team in the 2000s. He played a key role with his ball and also the ball and helped England win the Ashes for the first after two decades. His height while Bowling and Strength in batting are his main points.
Sanath Jayasuriya : This Lankan Tiger is the Hardest Hitter in his team and one of the Hardest Hitter in the World. Some times he even can excell with the ball. Though he didn't maintained the standards of a great bowler in Tests, his bowling talent is seen in ODIs and T20s and the same can be seen in his stats below.
My personal feeling is that Flintoff satisfies this position better than Sanath.
9)Tony Greig :
I don't know whether he should be placed in this list or not. He is a good batsmen than a bowler, aka he is a batting allrounder like afridi . In his short career (1972 -77) he impressed the world. If he had a longer career I am sure he would be somewhere in the Top 5 of this list. See the impressive stats he had in his short career.
8)Shaun Pollock :
He is one of the best bowlers in Cricket South Africa. He is a bowling allrounder. His main strength in bowling is his line and lenght and he is very consistent and I think that it is difficult for a batsmen to score in his bowling. His bowling is similar to Glenn McGrath's bowling(Glenn is one of the best Bowlers in the World ). he also has consistency in batting but he often made a big score,he maintains a constant standard score and remained as a backbone to his team at the end during his era.

7)Keith Ross MIller :
He is the best allrounder in the mid of 20th century. He showed his talent with both ball and bat. He was well known as a fast opening bowler . He had his career during the World War II
and I think that the war affected his place in the list. Unlike others you have encountered upto now in this list , he is not a Bowling Allrounder or a Batting Allrounder. He excelled both with the bat as well as the ball.
6)Kapil Dev :
He is the best allrounder of India and one of the best bowler in Cricketing history. Similar to Miller he excelled both with the bat & ball. He is the only cricketer having 4000 test runs and 400 + test wickets in his career. Not only an Allrounder he is also the Best Captain of India and also a great finisher. (Check the Best Finisher in modern Cricket ). He used to
finish some matches with his great batting strength.

5)Ian Botham :
He is the first Cricketer to have 5000 runs and 300+ wickets. His popularity increased during the Ashes 1981 and he influenced that series so much that it was known as Botham's Ashes.Even after two decades he still holds the record as the Highest Wicket Taker in England. Another great feet and an example of his Allrounder ability is that he is the first one to have scored a century and take 10 Wickets in a Test Match.
4)Richard Hadlee :
He can be considered as a the Best allrounder ever for the NewZealand Team. He is well known for his bowling skills. In his bowling even the easiest of the ball will be tough for the batsmen to connect. In addition to his great bowling he also maintained regular average scores in his matches . He is the first bowler to cross the 400 test wickets mark.

3)Imran Khan :
He is Pakistan's Best Cricketer ever and ever. I think India's Kapil Dev is similar to Pak's Imran Khan. He is well known as a bowling allrounder. He is also the finest Captain for Pakistan and it is under his captaincy Pak won the first and only world cup. He opened bowling for Pak for many years .
2)Garfield Sobers :
At the beginning of his career, he was taken into the WIndies team as a medium spin bowler(just like sanath Jayasuriya). But the unknown batting talent exposed very soon. His total runs of 8000 says that he is one of the best batsmen in the World. His talent is that he can be a medium pacer as well as a spinner. He can spin the ball both ways and he is remembered as one of the Contributors for the West Indies Circket.

1)Jacques Kallis :
He is the best allrounder ever and he is well known for both batting and bowling. He is a medium pacer and gets into batting at the crucial times. He is praised by many legends as the most effective player. He was the succesor of Shawn Pollock. He maintained the standards of Pollock and even outlasted Pollock with his performance. Many all rounders in our list will be like Hard Hitters( if they are Bowling allrounders ) . But Kallis had some good classic shots in his book and he has two double centuries in his stats.
