Volkswagen hasn’t been particularly popular with luxury saloon cars but that was until the Volkswagen Passat and Phaeton came in to the market. The new Phaeton has come with a more evolved look from its heightened nose, reworked interior, LED headlights and a bump in technology. You will feel a good solid feeling in the car while you are driving the Phaeton and that is a great thing. The dashboard comes with Google mapping with a satnav unit which any fan would notice that it is borrowed from the new Bentley Conti. The seats and interiors are designed to give a luxurious drive with plenty leg room, spacious seats and user-friendly buttons so you never feel swamped by technology. You can get “impression” alloy wheels and it comes under 6 different colour variants. It comes with most standard safety features like of any luxury car like 8 airbags, ABS, ESP, EDL, and ASR, fog lamp, anti-theft alarm system and tire pressure monitoring system among many other safety features.

Since the engine is not very frugal, the sales of the car are not trumping much as they should have. Moreover competitors like Audi A8 offers mileage as high as 13 kmpl in city and 16 kmpl on highway.
